Crashing Jericho, comprised of Tyler Davis (Vocals, Guitar), Drew Davis (Bass), and Kolomona Kalalau (Drums), hails from Greenville, SC. The band got their start in West Virginia where the three were raised. After leading worship for years and playing in other bands, Crashing Jericho was formed. The name was taken from bible verses in Hebrews and James, which refer to the Walls of Jericho coming down through faith after being marched around and surrounded by music. The members were encouraged by this example of faith and decided to name the band Crashing Jericho. After touring steadily throughout the Tri-State area and changing members, the band decided to move to Greenville to further their careers and reach out to more people. CJ has developed quite the following on Myspace and has fans all across the United States.
Recently, CJ has signed a record/distribution/management deal with OMG/EMI. Anyone who goes to a show can see that the band is passionate about what they do and are truly excited to be making a difference. Each member shows a heart for God in conversation, and is eager to help others in whatever way they can. The guys look forward to a bright future of building God's Kingdom and living according to His will.
