Bio
The roots of Blaze of Fire date back to 2004, when God gave singer/ songwriter Chris Morgan a vision and a promise. The vision was that of a band that would have the opportunity to do great things, not for themselves, but for The living God.
Everything started falling into place three years later in 2007 when Chris was given the opportunity to lead worship for his churches’ summer camp. Chris quickly got in touch with the best rhythm section he knew, Jody McCluskey on Bass Guitar and Justin Gather on Drums. The lineup was rounded off by a phenomenal young guitar player named David Lambert and Chris’s wife/ co-writer Stephanie Morgan on background vocals. Two months later, a chance meeting led to the addition of a very talented second guitar player Jimmy Parker. In the time that Blaze of Fire has been together, they have witnessed God do some amazing works.
As individuals and as a band, God has brought the members of Blaze of Fire through a long list of addictions, shortcomings, mistakes, and wrong turns. However, God has delivered all of them from these things and is using Blaze of Fire in a mighty way!
