Ministry
Signified by the meaning behind
their name, the members of Cele De, are
truly "Servants of God." Using
a blend of instrumental and lyrical music,
their distinct and refined sound has allowed
them to bring God's light to Celtic festivals,
pubs, and bars, as well as typical Christian
venues such as churches and coffeehouses.
Making use of their energetic, youthful,
and intricate sound, God has used Cele De
to minister to both young and old.

Bio
For this hard-hitting group out of Northern
California, unique is an understatement.
While listening to this passionate Celtic
rock quintet, don't be shocked when their
songs cross time signatures, genres, or
musical boundaries.

Accomplishments
For being 18, 19, and 20 years of age, Cele
De sure has accomplished a lot. In March
of 2004, they beat out over 110 bands to
win America’s Christian Music Showcase.
Since then, they have shared the stage with
notable Christian acts including SonicFlood,
Sanctus Real, George Huff, Darrell Evans,
Monk and Neagle, and more. They have also
found acclaim in the Celtic/Folk arena,
playing with big names like Tempest, the
Wicked Tinkers, and Brian McNeil. Interviewed
live on the air by Greg Kihn (of the Greg
Kihn Band), they have received airplay on
stations including San Jose’s KEZR,
KRTY, and KUFX. Recently, they were honored
to open for the reigning national banjo
champion Brian Anderson. But the list will
not stop there. During the next four months
alone, they will be opening for Joy Williams,
headlining their own show at Spirit West
Coast, playing at Cornerstone Music Festival
(the largest Christian event in the US),
as well as performing at Don Quixote’s
International Music Hall. | |
