Indie Community is partnering with Cornerstone Music Festival this year to produce an Indie Community Stage! We will also be doing a C U at Cornerstone Tour with some of the artists playing on our stage.
ABOUT CORNERSTONE
Cornerstone is one of the largest Christian music festivals in the country. Their headliners this year include Flyleaf, Family Force 5, Sixpence None the Richer, Leeland, Hawk Nelson, The Almost, and David Crowder Band. If you are not familiar with Cornerstone, check them out at www.cornerstonefestival.com. The dates of the event are June 30th - July 5th and the location is Bushnell, IL.
DATES and TIMES
The Indie Community stage will run from 12 PM until 12 AM from Monday, June 30th until Saturday, July 5th. Except - the stage will only run from 12 PM until 6 PM on Friday, July 4th. All timeslots will be 30 minutes with a 10 minute change over between bands. You can specify which time slot you would like on your sign up form and we will do our best to accomodate.
SOUND AND BACKLINE
Tired of playing on the grass with a couple 15" Peavey's on speaker stands? The Indie Community Stage will have professional sound, a 20X20 stage, lighting, and a sweet 40X60 tent! Backline gear of a drum kit will be provided.
TICKETS
In addition to the fee you pay to play on our stage, Cornerstone requires that each band member purchase a ticket to the festival. However, your merchandise sales should help offset this cost. Once you register to play our stage we will send you a link to purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
MERCHANDISE
You can sell merchandise at the Indie Community Stage and we recommend that you do so. Cornerstone requires bands to give them a percentage of their merchandise sales. As a generator stage we are required to collect this from you and pay it to Cornerstone.
TOUR
Indie Community is partnering with Cornerstone to produce the C U at Cornerstone Tour. We will take several of the artists who are playing our stage and book a tour during the 2-4 weeks leading up to the festival. The tour will hit markets in the midwest to promote Cornerstone and the Indie Community stage. Bands on the tour will be paid a daily honorarium plus meals and lodging. You will be able to let us know if you are interested in the tour on your sign up form. Cornerstone and Indie Community will choose the tour bands and notify everyone.
COMPILATION CD
Indie Community will be putting together a compilation cd to pass out at Cornerstone. This will be given out for free to youth pastors and church leaders we meet. We are looking for 18 bands to be on the cd. There will be an extra charge for this, but it will be done at cost. All registered bands will be considered for this. Email if you are interested!

(3) PAY - Accepted bands must pay the $175 performance fee within 2 weeks of their acceptance to hold their slot.
