Ministry Damascus
Road's ministry is focused on sharing their
love for christian music with the masses.
As a band, their goal is to share God's
love in order to bring people closer to
Christ. They are simply consumed by their
love for music and wish to share it with
as many people as possible before Christ
returns.
Bio
Damascus Road is a group of dedicated,
yet fallible Christians who have a God
inspired leading to spread the Gospel
of Jesus Christ through their expression
of a "joyful noise." With
varying age ranges, they are men and women
with different backgrounds and varied
salvation experiences. Each member
has a heartfelt yearning to show thanks
to Jesus for what He has done in their
lives.
Damascus Road has been performing and
leading worship since 2001. The
band has traveled all over Alabama doing
praise and worship concerts at churches
and other events. The band's
style combines Christian soft rock with
flute and sax solos and conga work. Damascus
Road's repertoire includes popular Christian
radio songs as well as their original
music.
