You Can Have My Heart

Ministry
Worship through music is just one of many ways that people can connect with a worthy and deserving God. Jessica Rieke Heine and her band encourage people towards that connection both through their music and their lives. Their goal is to engage people in the intimate, expressive worship of a worthy God while building relationships with the people they encounter.

Bio
Jessica Rieke Heine has been playing music and leading worship since she was fifteen. She began performing in and around her hometown of Paducah, KY during high school, while stepping into the role of worship leader for her local youth group.
Rieke moved to Birmingham, AL in 2001 and joined up with the band for the college ministry University Christian Fellowship (UCF). As a member of the UCF band, she led around 600 college students in worship each Wednesday night. The UCF band has released several full-length worship projects, both live and studio recordings.

Rieke spent her college summers in camp ministry, leading worship for Crossings, a youth camp located in Western KY. In 2004, she expanded her efforts as a songwriter and released her first solo project entitled “Casting Daylight.” She traveled to churches, coffeehouses, colleges and all kinds of places in support of this record.

In 2005, Rieke joined forces with Jeffrey Heine and assumed the name “Jessica Rieke Heine.” You get the picture.

Lately, Jessica Rieke Heine divides her time between leading worship at Redstone Church in Birmingham, AL and traveling with her band to all kinds of youth and college events.

With the 2007 release of “Finding a Fugitive,” Rieke Heine blends a heart for congregational worship, a love for rootsy alternative country, and the well-crafted work of a seasoned songwriter to produce her best musical effort yet. She is available for a number of dates throughout the year, both solo or with band—camps, conferences, shows, retreats, coffeehouses, DNows, etc.
