"Owing Adam" also mean that the band owes Christ. In 1 Corinthians 15: 21,22, Paul also wrote, " For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Because of this verse and other verses in Romans, Christ is sometimes referred to as the second Adam. Paul also wrote in Romans 8:12, " Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh." The verse is a direct word from God that we are debtors to Christ, to live after the Spirit.
Because the first man sinned, we are all born sinners. Sin requires the penalty of death. Because Jesus Christ never sinned and yet died (2 Corinthians 5:21), He took the penalty for those that have sinned. The Bible also says that Christ became alive again on the third day of his death conquering death forever for those who would believe in Him. We can partake of this eternal sacrifice that He has made for us and His resurrection simply by believing, confessing our sins and turning from our sin to God, who not only forgives us, but becomes our Father and our Friend. Romans 10:9 and 10 say, " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you have not confessed your sins to God, will you bow before Him in humility today and believe and confess that you are a sinner to Him?
The Band wishes to share God's love with anyone. If you don't agree with owing adam that 's cool. The band just wants to give everyone an opportunity to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way.
